1. How do you know if you can trust us with your paintball gear?
We have been DuraCoating for over 7 years now. We have done and continue to do custom work for Valken Sports, Pinokio Hoppers, SobePaintball, Lapco, Save Phace, Metadyne Industries, Angel Sports, and Zodiak Paintball to name a few.
2. How durable is DuraCoat®?
DuraCoat® is permanent. With normal use, a paintball marker finished with DuraCoat® will last several lifetimes..
CAUTION , You paintball marker will not be fully cured when you first receive it. You can do some limited assembly but only at your own risk. Any damage to the coating from before it is cured is not covered. DuraCoat® is dry to the touch in 20 minutes, can be handled in 1 hour and is ready for LIMITED handling overnight. Although DuraCoat® will gain most of its final hardness, elasticity and chemical resistance over a 2-3 week period, time will continue to enhance DuraCoat's® characteristics over a lifetime. DuraCoat®, like fine wine, gets better with age. As we say, "DuraCoat® wears in, not out."
3. What is DuraCoat?
DuraCoat® is a two part chemical coating. Unlike other firearm finishes, DuraCoat® was created specifically for firearms. Other firearm finishes are "spin-off's" from other industries.
4. What is the turnaround time if I send a marker to Conlee Custom Camo to be refinished?
Generally the turnaround time will be 3-4 weeks. At times, we are extremely busy and the time will be extended. When this happens, we will notify our customers when completed.
5. Will my paint job look exactly like the website photos?
All photos are only examples of the basic paint scheme. As every marker is coated individually, finished patterns will vary slightly. When ordering, you can choose different camo designs and when applying a multi-color paint scheme we can favor one color over the others to suit your needs.
6. What does the clear coat do for my gun or marker?
It evens out any variations in the sheen caused by the differences in the colors and it increases the life of the finish thus requiring the clear to be worn away before the color can begin to wear. Clearcoat is added at no extra charge to every order.
Your paintball marker will be posted on our website for everyone to see after it’s finished. If you have any objections, please let us know.
